We’re excited to be speaking at the ACEs Conference this year where we’ll discuss improving client retention using video. Foojee has been around for close to a decade now and a few years ago we decided we wanted to keep in touch with our clients using video. It started with a simple, one camera set up and the final version had no cuts. It was also almost 10 minutes long. There was no schedule. No structure. No organization. Today, we do our best to create and produce at least one video per month which we then send out via email to our clients and friends. We share the video on social media and do our best to provide value to our immediate community. In fact, we made the trek down to New Orleans for the ACEs Conference last year and you can see our video recap here.
Sure, we love making the videos and sharing them, but one of the best side effects we’ve encountered is our improved client retention. We had conservative expectations, but were blown away when friends and clients told us how much they loved the videos. We were even more astounded when they would tell us that they had shared it with their friends.
In our session at ACEs we’ll talk about the winning formula we’ve discovered when it comes to creating videos and using those to endear yourself to clients. It costs roughly seven times more to acquire a new customer than it does to sell to an existing customer, and yet many of us spend tons of our time and energy pouring into new sales and accounts. In our session we’ll give you some back story about Foojee, how we got to where we are today, how video played a role in that growth, the strategy behind video, and then we’ll dive in to the how-to’s of creating a video and what you can do to make your own videos. We can’t wait to share with you!
